Weddingphotographer Stockholm! Shopping Art, Love, in London!

I will do nothing today but listen to Marianne Faithful, no vacum cleaning or baking "kanelbulla" as i planed to..sorry clients.
Last week in London I found an dear old acquaintance, the album Broken English, which I read about in todays DN; the album is a real cult album, solid, as if I didn´t know..

I am also falling falling falling, in love whith Nick Brandt´s sensous photographs from Kenya & Tanzania. What darkroom Art.
I was invited by Fransesca at the Atlas gallery last wednesday, to the private view of Captain Scott´s lost photographs. The arctic explorer and four fellow adventures perished in March, 1912. How could Captain Scott´s lost photographs ever have been forgotten and
lost? that masterpice.
Anyhow, during the mingle that evening she showed me a signed ex of the book. I was dreaming of the images that night, and jumped in to a taxi the day after to buy the book ! :-)
Now I am a poor but very happy photographer.
Nick was Mikael Jacksons Videographer. During a reconing journay for mikaels new video Nick fell in love whith Kenya. Soon after he came back and shoot images for his own.

Idag vill jag bara lyssna o lyssna på mitt London fynd; Marianne Faithful- broken english.
Min egen platta försvann under en galen fest någon gång på 80-talet, förstå vilken lycka, där fanns den och väntade på mig i en låda på en marknad. Lustigt, läste i dagens DN att den anses vara en riktig kultplatta, som om jag inte visste det..:-)

Njuter också av mitt fantastiska London fynd Nick Brandt´s fotobok.
Den kom till mig på ett fint och oväntat sätt; under privat förhands visning för speciellt inbjudna till utställningen Captain Scotts lost photographs, blev jag visad ett av de få signerade exen. Drömde om boken den natten, åkte tillbaka till galleriet dagen därpå och köpte boken.
Är nu betydligt fattigare men vilken lycko investering!
