Photography! I got this email yesterday from Germany!

I think there's someone who loves your work and would be honored to work with you. Me.

I am looking for the opportunity to work with an exceptional wedding photographer in 2011.
In summer 2010 I followed through on my occupational change and attended the Intensive Career Training at the renowned Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Montana, USA. Interdisciplinary we were trained in photojournalism, wildlife and landscape, sports, studio, portraiture, people, macro, image editing and management (Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop), and output.
I have more than 20 years of experience in landscape and travel photography and have exhibited my work in Germany and the US.
I thought I knew where I belong. I was surprised about the impact a lecture about wedding photography had on me.
After my return to Germany I sought opportunities to photograph children, engagement sessions and weddings. So now, I also have some experience in people photography plus I am hooked. In order to be truly worthy of the trust placed in me, I need to learn more.
That is why I turn to you.
I am looking for a handson opportunity to work with a wedding photographer. But not with any photographer but someone who skillfully combines photojournalism and fine art photography. I find that in your strong black and whites, the seemingly effortless candids and the consistent dedication to emotions and details.
Some of my favourites on your website are the candid photographs no. 9 and 12 on page 1. I am also very intrigued by the sensuality of your Thrash The Dress pictures. And who doesn't love the the boys in photo 1 on page 3!
Besides technical skills and creative passion, I am looking for a reliable and customer orientated professional who takes the client's fun seriously.
I always learn from the best, no matter where they are in the world. I would love to come to Sweden. I am open to the various kinds of working relationships (assistant, 2nd shooter) and flexible in date. I would work for free. Please consider me even if it would be way into 2011. I can also be there tomorrow.
Capturing significant moments in people's lives is an amazing gift. This is what my application is all about.
I truly hope to be able to work with you.
Kind regards, Petsy Fink
